MEETING PLACE BERLIN -A NEW EVENT FOR THE CONVENTION INDUSTRY

The aim of this workshop - which takes place from 30 June through 2 July 2005 - is to present Berlin as a dynamic metropolis for meetings and congresses, and thereby drive up the number of multi-day congresses with more than 250 persons.
To this end, about 300 national and international organisers, associations, groups, companies, PCOs and agencies will be invited to Berlin. Following a Grand Opening Evening, these Hosted Buyers will enjoy a diverse 3-day programme, including: a 'Meet Professionals Day', with fixed appointments with local providers; a 'Meet Facilities Day', presenting meeting and convention venues in Berlin; and a 'Meet Berlin Day', to discover the city's diversity and many opportunities
