New business forum: Meeting Place Berlin
01.06.2005
TagungsWirtschaft 06/2004
The convention department of Berlin Tourismus Marketing (BTM) and BTM Partnerhotel e.V will be holding the first business solicitation forum "Meeting Place Berlin" from June 30 to July 2, 2005. The event will serve to canvass association meetings and events with more than 250 delegates and lasting several days, bringing suppliers from Berlin together with some 300 potential buyers from Germany and abroad.
The buyers and the main decision-makers from associations, political organisations, corporations and companies as well as professional congress organizers and agencies, are to be selected extremely carefully. This will serve not least to build up a qualified database.
An alternating three-day programme is scheduled in Berlin, with 100 guests at a time and comprising the following:
1. Meet Professionals Day - a workshop featuring 20 prearranged appointments with local suppliers. For this, buyers will be seated at set places in a kind of openplan office.
2. Meet Facilities Day - inspection of Berlin's meeting venues
3. Meet Berlin Day - a close-up tour through the capital, experiencing the scene, art, culture, fashion etc.
The event is free of charge to buyers. Suppliers pay a workshop fee of € 2,400 for three days, € 295 for presentation in the catalogue and on the Internet, and € 90 for a link.
pcma gmbh Berlin are responsible for designing and organising the forum. Contacts there are Till Runte and Bernd Wiedemann (call 030/7684-0, www.pcma.de).
